Step outside and turn the page at The Curious Picnic Club: Stories Under the Trees, a playful afternoon of storytelling, craft and little discoveries presented by Park Side.
Created for children aged 4–9, each intimate 45-minute session begins with an interactive Chinese storytelling experience led by Flip For Joy. Inspired by food and nature, the story will invite little listeners to imagine, respond and join in along the way.
After the story, children will bring its world to life through a guided craft activity designed by Flip For Joy. Parents are welcome to join their child during the session, or settle in nearby with a drink while the little ones get creative on the lawn.
Choose the standard storytelling experience, or make an afternoon of it with our Picnic for 2 package, complete with food, iced tea and a picnic setup for you and your little one to enjoy among the greenery.

Recommended for children aged 4–9.
Limited to 15 children per session.

Your ticket includes:
• Entry for one child and one accompanying adult
• A 30-minute interactive storytelling session by Flip For Joy
• A 15-minute guided craft activity
• Curious Picnic Club Kit - Consists of 1 Paper Fan, Postcard & Sticker Sheet
• One $15 Park Side dining voucher, valid on the event day
Parents may remain at Park Side during the session. The programme may be moved indoors in the event of wet weather.
